CONCERT BAND AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
1. Committee Structure
The IBA Concert Band Affairs Committee consists of a representative from each of the six districts of IBA (NCIBA, NEIBA, NWIBA, SCIBA, SEIBA, SWIBA) to serve a three-year term, with a second successive term at the discretion of the district membership.
The IBA Concert Band Affairs Committee Chair shall be appointed by the President of IBA, and shall be selected from the members of the IBA Concert Band Affairs Committee. The duties of the Chair shall include:
One member of the IBA Concert Band Affairs Committee will serve as a voting member of the IHSMA Prescribed Music List Review Committee. This member will be selected by the membership of the IBA Concert Band Affairs Committee, and will present a written report to the members of the IBA Concert Band Affairs Committee immediately following the meeting of the Prescribed Music List Committee in February each year.
