We are gearing up for January information sessions to share Iowa’s Every Student Succeeds Act draft plan, and I need your help getting the word out. The Department will release the draft plan on Friday, January 6. The statewide public meetings will then run from January 9-19, with a format that is informational – we will present details about the plan, field questions and take input.
The dates and locations of those public meetings are included below. All meetings begin at 5 p.m. We’ll also plan to have a Zoom link for each meeting so that folks may listen remotely.
I appreciate anything you can do to help us spread the word (via email, social media, website, etc.) about the draft plan and information sessions.
Please note that some days have more than one meeting site. See you in January!
Click continue reading to see the dates of meetings. Some updated dates due to recent weather. Zoom webinar links are included also.
Congratulations to the following groups that were selected to perform during our 90th annual conference this May.

Congratulations also go out to all of the groups and directors that submitted recordings for consideration. The growth from the process has made every group involved better, I am sure.
