Festival Date: Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Drake University (map)

Registration Deadline: Friday, October 30, 2009

Penalty Deadline: Friday, November 6, 2009

Event Information:

  1. •Students will be selected for the bands on the basis of auditions

  2. •All high school students whose band directors are members of SCIBA
    and IBA are eligible to audition, with the exception of wind and percussion students who are members of the 2009 All-State Band or Orchestra

  3. •All-Staters may audition on entirely different instruments

  4. •Each school may enter up to FOURTEEN 9th or 10th grade students and up to FOURTEEN 11th or 12th grade students to audition

  5. •Because this is an educational festival, rather than a competition, no ratings or rankings will be given.

  6. •In the event of inclement weather, make-up date is January 11, 2010
