Fall Cruise

This is the initial meeting of NCIBA members to welcome new directors to the district.  This is an informal gathering on Clear Lake complete with a dinner on the Lady of the Lake.  Loading will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the vessel taking off at 6:30. Total evening expenses will be $17.  New directors to the district are free.  Spouses and other guests are welcome.  Make sure Dan Djuren knows by Friday, September 4^th if you are planning to attend.  Please include your name in your RSVP.

Middle School Honor Band Selection Night

Anyone who is interested in helping select students for the 2009 NCIBA MS Honor Band is invited. The committee will meet in the Hampton-Dumont Middle School in Hampton at 6:00 p.m.

NCIBA Middle School Honor Band Festival

The Middle School Honor Band Festival site will be in Humboldt. Tim Miller will be the honor band site chair. The festival will be held in conjunction with an official fall business meeting of the membership.  Registration deadline for the honor band is Friday, September 25^th, 2009.  NCIBA dues must be paid by this date if your students are to participate.

John Klemas at North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City hosts the High School Honor Band Festival. This includes an official business meeting of the membership. Registration deadline for the honor band is Friday, October 30^th, 2009.  Also held on this day are the Karl L. King Scholarship auditions with a registration deadline of Friday, December 4^th, 2009.
